Our First Wild Berry Harvest

About a month or so ago, we found several blueberry bushes on the property and tonight was our first "harvest". Several of the children and I went out and picked what we could find. We also found some blackberries but most of them are not quite ready yet.

Eureka! Katie, Jay-El, Kelley Rose and Julian striking it rich

Here are some of our cherry plum trees which aren't quite ready yet.

On the left you can see them starting to turn.

Yum Yum.
Sometimes we're the recipient of fresh blueberries, as a neighbor has about a dozen bushes! They freeze so well, too.
