Joshua's Speech Evaluation
This morning Joshua, Kyle and I headed to downtown Birmingham for Joshua's first speech evaluation. Since we got the hearing aids, his speech has improved but we want to stay on top of things so we scheduled an evaluation to see how he's doing.

I grew up next door to two deaf girls....who learned to speak before they learned to sign. It was important to their mother that they learn to *talk*, so from them I learned to read lips.
Fascinating what speech therapists can do these days!
